Glee Goes Great
So my fellow Gleeks, the ratings for this phenomenal piece of joyous television have defied gravity as Britains go Gaga for Glee and tonight my friends is the end of series one! My Monday nights after ColCol will be meaningless as everything in this eve is scheduled around this time! I even tell my best friend Jenni not to ring between nine and ten, now what am i to do?? I shall be wandering the house in a trance listening to the Glittering Glee playlist on my ipod and dreaming that i sing like Rachel, whilst doing my best not to sing out loud.
SO here is it a tribute to all that has been great this Gleeful Season....
Smarty Tarty
So Tartan isn't exactly a summer staple, more a/w'09 highlight as seen of Solange Knowles and oh my god the more amazing body-con by Miss Hudgensor even Katy Perry. But still college calls for formalities and so we crank out the tarts, mix match of course.
So here in a bathtub (cheeeeeky) is my collaboration on two prints, firstly my vintage blazer combined with skirt from goodness knows where i cannot remember. The necklace was from a jewelery boutique in Spain and the ducks are from my house along with the cleverly placed radox, very stylish they are.
I want to be a WEST-side
That's Vivienne Westwood-side, well that was a fail. But my point is all my life (over dramatization a bit maybe-anyway) i have wanted to become part of the Westwood Family. Once i have completed my degree in Fashion Design and Photography i am definitely applying for a job there!!! I suddenly got into this day dream about working there and wandering in on one of the shoots, casually as you do, and being asked to style some clothes, as you do , then being asked by Viv herself to be the face of her label, as you do!!! Oh if there was anything i could ask for in life, seeing as Pamela Anderson did a fantastic job, i think i could. Because lets face it me and Pammy haven't exactly got the model shape, we both have massive chest appendages...;)
On top of THAT the end result isn't typical high fashion or commercial, its;
kooky, fun, energetic, its like the class clown walking in wearing couture, its suave however savvy, adventurous tease, like a cheeky warm cup of fun without the slickly cliche.
Oh what i wouldn't do to scale the billboards with you.

The fasination with Skorts
I would like to express my love of the ingenious creation that is a skort. Why? Well at collage shorts are not permitted on the dress code and so me trying to push the fashion limit as much as possible without being kicked out, or worse being made to get changed...decided it was time for a disguise. So without looking too casual, even though in la société de nos jours they have invented smart classy shorts. Here are a pair i picked up in a beautifully market again in the south of Spain, the top is lace puff ball sleeves from H&M and the off cream blazer is from the Hennes collection....
MayDays
On the first Monday of May is May day a celebration that has been going on for years and one in which i always find fantastic. On the third of May this year me and my best friends Elly and Fred, i.e Sam, visited two May Fayre'. With the amazing sweet stall captained by twee brownies to hot tea and cupcakes as the rain fell down, it wouldn't be so without rain. But my favorite of all the bumper cars!! Until next year....

When in Flo
In February half term me and my AS Level art and textiles classes went off to Italy in search of fun and adventure, for purely educational reasons of course. Sadly i had my memory stick (which come to it is very very important) stolen at a party (I know someone took a memory stick instead of my phone/ipod/camera/money!?)
